these blotted lines swim colorlessly
hemorrhage and drop, hemorrhage and drop
and in the background I luminesce
and hemorrhage and drop, drop, drop
the caterwauls have aligned again
they hemorrhage and spin, alight in their hymn
they cadence and swell, swerving the verve
an endless disjoint heart-beating dance

harmonic math blooms delicately in their silence

their thrumming thrashing silences
the mechanical yawping electrical spell
and dangerous heat, grasping to sear
in their mythical jargon that traipses and smiles
and arches in tiers and layer and lair
and liar and cursing

and whispthe underside of a pillow by ~abyssmalwind

Trigeminal Nerves I feel the crush of my lips beneath my teeth,
Our words colliding into a sea of fricatives and velar plosives in the chill air of night.

Lately, the weight of my teeth can't help but linger around the thought of you,
Settle its neuroses heavily into my bottom lip in some futile attempt to make concrete the fleeting sound of your voice
A voice which meanders through the silence of my daydreams.

But,
I realize,
 as our words vibrate gently through the opacity of night,
for this shimmer of synapse to breath we share

Sequestered Semesters my teenage acne scars
look more and more like battle wounds,
the year unfolding
like the sleepless nights that settle
into the skin beneath my eyes.

these nights
of dissolved kaleidoscope horizons
have faded into fluorescent basement walls
opaque as chalk crumbles from the ceiling

opaque as I am mute

but my only silence is noise.  
           words and words and words, never ideas.  
I am haunted by their dry-wall voices,
these ghosts of people

I'm getting rather tired

of seeing that journal entry every time I visit my homepage.

Also!  I've done a reading of T.S. Eliot's "The Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock."  Sure I don't know a damn thing about making the video/podcast hullabaloo look even mildly presentable...but tell me, how can you say no to a passive, impotent middle-aged man?  Oh, right.  I see.  
But the poem is brilliant.  I assure you.  My reading of it, dunno.
